Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started to struggle with their bowling attack. The men in yellow, in last two games, haven't bowled well in the death overs. They won the game against Delhi Daredevils because of 10-15 extra runs in their account. But, against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they neither had extra runs, nor their bowler supported it with the ball.

They failed to defend 178 runs after youngster Shubman Gill and KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik stitched up an unbreakable partnership. Dhoni was disappointed about the death bowling against DD as well. He mentioned it again after the game against KKR.

Not only bowling, CSK struggled with the fielding too. Ravindra Jadeja, Chennai's one of the best fielder, dropped Sunil Narine on consecutive balls. Dhoni, well aware of the upcoming tough challenges, publicly criticized their bowling department which we don't see often.

"I am disappointed with the loss; we need to do better than this in the bowling department. A few more runs would have helped," Dhoni said at the post-match presentation.

Adding about the fielding, he said, "We knew the kind of fielding we will do after the team was picked. But what is more disappointing is that guys are not aware on the field.

"You may not be blessed with a lot of speed but you have to be attentive on the field. A classic example is (Michael) Hussey - when he was playing for CSK he was not the quickest but he used to anticipate really well and that used to give him extra second. That is the kind of commitment needed in the field. If no one is bowling well, I have to keep shuffling the bowlers around."
