The Indian Premier League (IPL) undoubtedly is the biggest T20 event across the globe in every aspect, from the glamorous look, packed stadiums, marketing buzz, to the participation of the world-class players in the tournament.

And when it comes to the financial and commercial aspect, there is no match of the IPL in the world as its value has been increasing with every season. But it seems that India’s neighboring country –Pakistan’s T20 tournament (Pakistan Super League) is trying to competing with the IPL, and other leagues.

The PSL has beaten all major T20 tournaments across the world, likes of Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL), West Indies’ Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and even IPL too in the best fielding standards.

As per a report in ESPNcricinfo, which sourced data from Cricket21, the PSL 2018 had a successful cathing rate of 82%, beating BBL 2018, where the conversion rate was only 75.6%, while CPL 2017 has an overall conversion rate of only 72%.

On the other hand, when it comes to the Indian T20 tournament, as of April 29, 2018, IPL has seen an 81% catch-conversion rate so far.

Meanwhile, there was not too much surprise on the achievement of the PSL as the cricket pundits often seen lauding the fielding efforts throughout the tournament this season.

However, the PSL has established itself as one of the leading T20 tournaments across the world since its inauguration in every aspect, but there is a long way for Pakistan to match the IPL.
