Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad met each other in the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur in the 28th match of the IPL 2018.

SRH captain Kane Williamson batted after winning the toss and scored a brilliant half century (63) and with Alex Hales’ 45, took SRH to a par score of 151/7. Jofra Archer (3/26) and K Gowtham (2/18) were the picks of RR bowlers.

RR knew their work was cut out against SRH bowlers and their worst fear proved to be right. Apart from Ajinkya Rahane (65*) and Sanju Samson (40), no other batsman from RR was comfortable against the SRH bowling, as Kaul picked 2/26 and Sandeep Sharma gave just 15 runs in his 4 overs for one wicket of Tripathi.

SRH won the match by 11 runs and went to the top of the points table.

Rajasthan Royals’ mentor Shane Warne was in a good mood before the match, as RR was playing at home against a weak batting side like SRH.

He tweeted that, “Welcome to our fortress ! FYI our Captain is in the mood to shake, bake & smash your man Bhuvi all over the pink city !

However, his prediction backfired badly, as the Twitterverse took the legend to the task on his tweet and roasted him.
