IPL 2018: Watch - Pune vibrates with chant of ‘Dhoni-Dhoni’, as MS Dhoni comes out to bat

Chennai Super Kings are facing Mumbai Indians in a return match at the MCA Stadium in Pune in the 27th match of the IPL 2018.

The no.1 team in the points table CSK has defeated MI by one wicket in the first match of the tournament at Wankhede and since then the fortunes of both the teams have gone way different. MI are struggling at the bottom of the points table with one win from six games and have to win 7 out of 8 games to keep themselves in contention for playoffs.

CSK was put into bat by MI captain Rohit Sharma and after fruitful contributions from Watson (12) and Rayudu (46), it was the turn of MS Dhoni to enter the arena to clobber the MI bowlers. Rayudu fell to Krunal Pandya, caught by Ben Cutting, after playing a very good innings.

The Pune crowd went berserk with noise, as the chants of ‘Dhoni-Dhoni’ heard around the ground, as Dhoni walked out onto the pitch.

MS Dhoni finished with 26 off 21 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Suresh Raina scored 75* in 47 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes to take CSK to 169/5 in 20 overs.
