There is barely a prettier sight in world cricket than watching Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers batting in full pomp. The duo enjoy each other’s company and have a very good mutual understanding while forging a partnership for their IPL franchise – Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Apart from their on-field antics, Virat and AB often grab the headlines for setting serious friendship goals.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kohli and de Villiers have been batting together since 2011 and have broken quite a few records.

The duo shares two 200-run partnerships in the IPL – most by any batting pair to own such a record in Twenty20 cricket. During the ninth edition of Indian Premier League, Virat and AB had mesmerized the cricketing fraternity with their incredible batting. While Virat had amassed 973 runs in IPL 2016 including four hundreds, De Villiers had aggregated 687 runs with one ton.

As far as this year’s IPL is concerned – the Bangalore-based franchise haven’t performed their potential yet. In 6 matches, RCB have managed to register only 2 wins thus far and are currently placed at No. 6 in the points table.

On Friday (April 27), cricket fans once again got the glimpse of Kohli-De Villiers' friendship goals when Kohli’s Instagram fan page – virushka_folyf – posted a video of both the ace batsmen from RCB’s training session.

In the video, Virat can be seen giving a cheerful hug to AB de Villiers at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore.
