Delhi Daredevils have not had a good IPL 2018 so far, as they are at the bottom of the points table. Their original captain Gautam Gambhir stepped down recently owning up to the failures of the team and also forego his fees for the season and will play for free for the remainder of IPL 11.

Shreyas Iyer was named as their new captain.

Delhi Daredevils were initially hit by injuries as Kagiso Rabada was ruled out of the IPL 2018 due to a back injury. They brought in Liam Plunkett as a replacement and now Delhi Daredevils have secured the services of South African pacer Junior Dala for the rest of the IPL 11 season.

Junior Dala impressed one and all in the 3 match T20I series against India earlier this year. Now DD are have added him to their squad as replacement for the injured Chris Morris.

Dala has been a consistent performer for the Titans as in 52 T20 matches; he has picked up 49 wickets with an average of 25.34 and at a strike rate of 8.24.

Here is Delhi Daredevils' welcome tweet for Junior Dala:
