IPL 2018: Kohli - Dhoni involve in a friendly hug, Twitter goes buzzing

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium saw two wonderful rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and two great skippers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli contesting in a thrilling IPL 2018 encounter on Wednesday (25 April).

The nail-biting contest was extra special because this IPL encounter was between Captain cool and an aggressive leader in Bangaluru that was really a treat for the fans to watch out here.

In Bengaluru, Dhoni was seen at his flamboyant best with willow, as he hammered unbeaten 70* off 34 balls with 7 sixes and 1 four, as well as, added 101 runs with Ambati Rayudu (82) for the 5th wicket to finish the line for the CSK with two balls to spare against the RCB in a style.  

However, RCB also had a great start as they put up 205/8 on the board thanks to the fifties by Quinton de Kock and AB de Villiers and Mandeep Singh’s quick knock of 32 off 17 balls, but their bowlers drastically failed to defend the total, eventually lost their home match to CSK by 5 wickets.

Meanwhile, the camaraderie between Kohli and Dhoni is well known amongst the cricket fans, as they were always seen sharing a good rapport and mutual respect for each other both on and off the field.

Besides some thrilling entertainment, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium witnessed one of the most special moments of this IPL season, as Kohli and Dhoni were seen having some bromance on the ground before going for the toss. The adorable 'bro-hug' between the two stalwarts of Indian cricket won many hearts and fans are continually sharing the picture on the social media with some sweet captions.

In the picture, shared by IPL on their official Twitter handle, we can see that a big smile on both Kohli and Dhoni’'s face while embracing each other at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
