Another Flop show from Virat Kohli

It was yet another disappointing day for the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli as he got out early on 18 runs. Virat needs to bat more efficiently to maintain his consistency or it will be a great problem for the team of Bangalore.

They always rely on Virat and Ab De Villers, but sometimes it happens when both of them are in the dugout after getting out. This needs to be reform as RCB is a quality and a star-dusted team. Kohli being the captain of the team has to step up for the rest of the tournament or it will very risky for Bangalore to qualify.

The two big-hitting South Africans of Royal Challengers Bangalore took full responsibility to accelerate RCB's innings. Ab De Villers and De Kock looked in fine touch to score all those huge boundaries for their team. A partnership of over 100 runs took Bangalore to sail its boat.

Ab scored 68 runs off 30 deliveries whereas the other scored 53 off 37 balls to take their team to a strong total. Both of them in total hit 12 sixes for their team. Their entertainment level was on a different scale. De Kock as well played a handy knock for his team to help De Villers relief the pressure of scoring boundaries.

Chennai Super Kings fought back when they got three quick wickets of Bangalore, most importantly of the two attacking batsmen who were slithering Chennai Super Kings with their bat. Chennai was back in the game when they took those three crucial wickets.

Two maiden overs from Bravo and Thakur were mainly the game-changing turns of the match. Mandeep Singh and Washington Sundar led RCB to a comparative good total of 205.

While chasing a huge target of 206 runs, Chennai Super Kings lost their top three batsmen in a hurry. Suresh Raina, Watson and Billings just wasted their wicket away to make RCB look stronger at that period of time.

Ambati Rayudu was the lone warrior who was striking the ball so well that in fact, he hammered his second consecutive half-century for his team. He is in the form of his life with consistent mould he has also grabbed the orange cap for his head.

Dhoni, Rayudu master class another CSK heist

Rayudu and Mahendra Singh Dhoni were fabulous while chasing a mammoth total. With the help of Dhoni's raining sixes, Chennai was able to chase 100 runs in the last 7 overs. Surely Mahendra Singh Dhoni has a special and a calculative mind which led Chennai Super Kings on to the top of the points table.

Dhoni has made it look so easy for all his fans in Bangalore. It was yet another day for Mahendra Singh Dhoni to finish off proceedings with a six. Dhoni showed his class and successfully took CSK home today.

Chennai beat Bangalore by 5 wickets to take themselves ahead of Kings XI Punjab whereas Royal Challengers Bangalore have drugged their playoff chances in a pit hole.
