Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) are continuously failing to make an impact in the ongoing 2018 season of the T20 league, as the defending champions have managed only one win in their six outings so far in the lucrative tournament.

Rohit Sharma led MI has lost almost every match with very narrow margin despite entering into the IPL 2018 as one of the favorites because of the nature of their balanced squad.

So far in the IPL 2018, not only the entire MI squad failed to deliver but even their skipper also failed very shockingly with the willow, failing to cross the 20-run mark this season.

On Tuesday (24 April), MI suffered an embarrassing 31-run defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a low scoring IPL 2018 match at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai was bowled out for 87, which disappointed the fans most and they lashed out at the team and Indian opener on the social media.

However, Mumbai bowlers did a great job by dismissing SRH at 118 in 18.4 but the batsmen terribly failed to deliver as they continuously became the victim of the Hyderabad bowlers and even the skipper blamed the batters and himself for their embarrassing defeat.

Following the defeat at home, Rohit was seen very sad but fans have expressed their anger towards him by brutally trolling him on Twitter.

Now, Rohit and his team need a miraculous effort to make a strong comeback in the IPL 2018 when they will next play in-form Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 28 April in Pune.
