IPL 2018 saw one of its best matches on April 24, as Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first and thanks to 29 each from Kane Williamson and Yusuf Pathan scored 118 runs on the board against a potent MI bowling attack. Very fewer people gave SRH any chance of defending the total against the MI batting which had the likes of Rohit Sharma, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan.

However, with the likes of Sandeep Sharma, Siddharth Kaul (3/23), Rashid Khan (2/11), Basil Thampi (2/4) and Shakib Al Hasan (1/16) proved to be too much for the MI batting on a tough pitch. Though initially troubled by wet ball thanks to dew, once the ball was changed; SRH bowlers demolished the MI batting for just 87 runs.

On a side note, SRH bowler Siddarth Kaul was reprimanded for his antics against MI. His over-enthusiasm and over the top celebrations caused the IPL GC to caution him.
