Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)’s IPL 11 just got a little worse, as their Australian fast bowler Billy Stanlake has been ruled out of IPL 2018 due to a serious injury.

Stanlake has been ruled out of IPL owing to a finger injury which he sustained in the match against CSK. The Indian and Australian Orthopedic specialists have advised that Stanlake should not play the remaining part of IPL 2018.

Stanlake suffered a fracture to the fifth digit of his right hand while fielding and surgical reduction and fixation was required to restore function to that finger. The Australian fast bowler has flown back to his country for further treatment and will not be available for the rest of IPL 2018.
