AB de Villiers not only left fans awe-struck with his magnificent innings, but the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper was also amazed by his teammate's brilliance. The South African batsman remained unbeaten in his 90-run knock off 39 balls to guide RCB home against DD the other night.

Lauding the innings by De Villiers, Kohli said, "We still have a few areas to correct, but when you have the brilliant AB (de Villiers) in the team, he gives us plenty of reasons to smile. We understand our games very well and then he starts going off. And we know if we can get a 60-70 run partnership, we could win the game. Pity I couldn't stay till the end but Corey and Andy did well."

Kohli himself played a 26-ball 30 runs innings while stitching a partnership with De Villiers of 63 runs. He was then dismissed by ex-RCB player Harshal Patel with the help of a stunning catch at the boundary line by pacer Trent Boult.

"[The catch} I was stunned when he took it, that's a brilliant catch, it happens in the IPL especially. Good to see. That's a catch when you look back, you don't feel bad about getting out."

RCB are now fifth in the points table with two wins. They will need six more wins to ensure a place in the play-offs.
