Despite Delhi having a sluggish start, Rishabh Pant gave a sense of joy to all the Delhi fans in Bangaluru. The left-handed batsman played his heart out scoring 85 runs and Delhi Daredevils to a compatible score of 174.

The young guns of Delhi Daredevils, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer were on fire to bring on the match some heat. From 58/2 in 10 overs to 174 in 20 overs require some master class and these young and sensational players of Delhi have exactly shown the same amount of effort to take responsibility. Shreyas Iyer was brilliant upfront but he opted for a wide delivery that took his wicket.

Bangalore's death bowling issue

After starting so well with Umesh Yadav they put Delhi Daredevils on the back seat with 58 for 2 in 10 overs but somehow gradually Delhi shifted gears and thanks to Pant's blistering knock that Delhi looked still in the game.

Royal Challengers Bangalore conceded 71 runs in the five overs due to which Delhi was able to cross a compatible score. Death overs is one area where Bangalore will need to check on their side as in every match they get themselves beaten to death overs.

De Villiers taking Delhi bowlers to the cleaners

Ab De Villers was all set to spread his magic all over in the Bangaluru stadium. He made the chase look very easy and comfortable. The latter scored unbeaten 90 to secure two points for his team.  it's been the usual suspect murdering yet another attack, yet another match.

Ab De Villers was desperate to win the match for his team and that's what he exactly did.  Scoring 90 runs in just 39 deliveries is just insane. His tremendous knock included 15 boundaries. De Villers is a modern legend who can demolish any bowling attack on a given particular day.

Boult's thundering catch

Boult took a stunner to dismiss Kohli. (IANS)
Trent Boult took the most dashing catch of the tournament. His one-handed catch made Virat Kohli go back in the pavilion. He had taken an unbelievable catch to dismiss the captain of RCB that made it look tough for the team at that point in time.

Trent Boult definitely is a great fielder as well who can win matches by taking catches. Unfortunately, it was Ab De who finished the job for his team.

RCB won the match by 6 wickets

RCB pulled off their second win off the campaign. (IANS)
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match after beating Delhi Daredevils by 6 wickets. RCB came back strongly after losing two consecutive wins, they wanted this win badly. The whole match belonged to batsmen of the respective teams.

Earlier it was young Pant for Delhi and in the end, it was the Superman De Villers to finish off the proceedings. Delhi has yet again lost a match that suggests the team is still at the bottom of the points table. They need to pull up their socks and produce some brilliant stuff.
