RCB are hosting DD at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 21 in order to gain vital points and move up in the IPL 2018 points table.

DD batted first and thanks to Rishabh Pant’s 85 off 48 balls and 52 from Shreyas Iyer, scored 174/5 on the board. This total was more than expected, as DD bowling was disciplined until the last 5 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal picked 2/22 for RCB.

RCB reply had Manan Vohra getting out for 2, caught by Roy off Maxwell. De Kock was then run out for 18. But Kohli and De Villiers came together to add 63 runs for the 3rd wicket. At 92, Kohli hit a full toss towards the backward square leg area, where it was railing over the head of the fielder.

However, that fielder was Trent Boult, regarded as one of the best fielders in the world, who thrusted his hand into the air and plucked the ball out of thin air, to send Kohli back for 30 runs.
