MS Dhoni has come out and expressed that he is very happy to be playing in front of the cricket loving people of Pune while he is sad that his team won't be playing at home in M.A Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk.

Because of CSK being suspended for the last two Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni was playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants and he quite enjoyed his experience.

Dhoni at the post-match presentation said, “The change of venue, when CSK was not there for a couple of years I played for Pune at that point, and the people over here, the fans here they came, they supported the team and stood by me,”

“To a lot of extents, you can say this was the time when I could return the favour, and it was good to see the fans coming over here. They have the choice, whether to support CSK or the other teams. Because you know, it is Chennai Super Kings, it is not Pune Super Kings. But I feel by the end of the seventh home game, you’ll see a lot more yellow on the ground.”

On the back of MS Dhoni's excellent tactical acumen in the field and Shane Watson's scintillating hundred, CSK went on to roll over Rajasthan Royals for 64 runs after being beaten by Kings XI Punjab in their last game.

On this Dhoni mentioned, “It was a big game for us, we lost the last one. It’s like an unknown territory for us. CSK is quite used to being behind and then getting into the groove, but this year it has been slightly different,”

Dhoni also said, “Everybody has contributed, we have performed, and that’s the reason we have won so many games so far. We need to keep pushing hard, we need to keep the fitness levels up."

“You probably know, most of us are over 30, so we’ll have to be fit because it’s a long tournament, It (experience) really counts. Also, when you know what kind of fielding side you are, there is no real point pushing players. There is no point getting injured while trying to stop a single or a double, because the kind of players we have got, they’ll always make it up. Yes, it may hurt us in a few games, but overall, looking at the strength of the side, I feel we’ve got a few good fielders who are very good and they are the ones doing the majority of the work when it comes to boundary fielding. Other than that it has been good so far and we just want to keep the players fit.”
