Chris Gayle scored the first IPL ton this season as Kings XI Punjab defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad, the first time in four matches this season.
Gayle was released ahead of the IPL 2018 auctions by his previous franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore. Going unsold in the first two rounds of the auctions, KXIP bought him for his base price of Rupees 2 crore.
Missing the initial games for KXIP, Gayle played two back to back match winning knock as Gayle's now is becoming a player to look out for in the season.
As KXIP is now on a winning streak, Twitter users have badly trolled his previous franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore who are now biting their nails and is badly missing the Universe Boss.

As if RCB fans were already not having a tough time seeing their team lose again & again, Chris Gayle decided to rub salt to their wounds. Yet another T20 ton from the Universe boss. And to do it against SRH, boy oh boy what a champion.
