Indian Premier League (IPL) has introduced the Decision Review System (DRS) to avoid confusions in decisions and improve accuracy. But what happened on Tuesday, left everyone surprised, including the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli.

In the match between RCB and Mumbai Indians (MI), Hardik Pandya was given out for caught behind, after pacer Chris Woakes heard a noise. The incident took place in the 19th over. But when Pandya went upstairs challenging the decision, the decision was overturned despite Snickometer showing a spike when the ball passed near the bat.

Virat was unamused with the decision. While local fans were celebrating, Kohli rushed to umpire asking for an explanation.

Later, in the same over, Pandya went on to hit a couple of big hits which went for six. It helped MI to end up with a huge total of 213 runs.

Pandya's total of 17 off 5 balls in Mumbai's total didn't really matter in the end as the Bangalore side lost the game by a huge margin of 46 runs. They were restricted to a meager total of 167 runs, with Virat Kohli scoring a 62-ball 92 after opting to open the innings himself.
