The Rajasthan Royals (RR) youngster Sanju Samson's stunning innings at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)'s fortress made Ben Laughlin compare him with the great Sir Don Bradman. Samson scored 45-ball unbeaten 92 at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Sunday.

Samson's fiery knock included 10 huge sixes and two boundaries. His innings blew RCB away as Rajasthan scored 217 for four. The youngster helped his team to recover from the early shocks and put up three 40-plus partnerships with D'Arcy Short, Ben Stokes and Rahul Tripathi.

Praising Samson, Laughlin tweeted, "Sanju Sampson = Don Bradman."

He later joked about the wrong spelling of Samson and tweeted that Stokes will keep a check spelling of his tweets from now on. "Hahahah @benstokes38 will need to check my spelling from now on," he added.

During the chase, the hosts needed one of their stalwart to bat till the end, but it didn't happen as they fell 19 runs short of victory.

Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli scored 30-ball 57 but his knock goes in vain. RR spinner Gopal, who delivers a dream spell of 2/22, ensured RCB's chase couldn't find the momentum. He removed by Kohli and AB de Villiers in the middle overs.

Rajasthan Royals have won two games in IPL 2018 till now.
