Australia and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) player Aaron Finch tied the knot with Amy Griffiths in Australia on April 7. He had missed the opening game for his IPL franchise KXIP against Delhi Daredevils this season.
The Aussie cricketer returned back to cricket after the wedding. But his presence in the playing XI couldn't make any difference for his team. He has been dismissed on a golden duck in both the last games for Punjab.
Against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Umesh Yadav was the bowler to send Finch back on zero on the very first delivery he faced. The 31-year-old was adjudged LBW. He even went for a review but the decision remained unchanged.
In the next game that he played, against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), again, Finch had to go back on a golden duck. This time it was South African leg-spinner who trapped him LBW.
The Australian soon became a butt of joke on Twitter, as memes and jokes started flooding in. Here are few of them:
