MS Dhoni played his one of the best innings in Indian Premier League (IPL) against KXIP on April 15.
His innings was a mixture of powerful and cheeky shots. Dhoni (79* from 44 balls) led the chase from the front, but failed to carry his team over the finishing line as they fell short of the target by 4 runs. Chennai Super Kings have won 2 matches out of their three games till now.
Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper, praised Dhoni for his innings. It was a vintage show by the veteran cricketer and seems like Rohit enjoyed every bit of it. In his tweet, he added that 200 is now an unsafe total and the MI captain has got a taste of it recently.
Mumbai lost to Delhi Daredevils (DD) after scoring 195 at Wankhede Stadium. Chasing a stiff target of 195, Daredevils batsmen Jason Roy and Rishabh Pant showed their prowess to take DD to first IPL 2018 victory.
Great striking there by @msdhoni almost pulled it off. 200 not safe these days is it? Got a feel of it yesterday ????♂️
