Sanju Samson's masterful  innings
Sanju Samson has played one of his best knocks in IPL today against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Ajinkya Rahane had already set a momentum for his middle-order batsmen to take the score above 200 and transmit a winning target on board and Sanju Samson quite played on the same plan with thrashing RCB bowlers all over the park. He dealt in sixes while was on the strike, striking ten times out of the park he nurtured and shaped up Rajasthan's inning to 217.

Samson and Buttler had a very useful partnership that included proper cricketing shots and strokes. He has had a great day with the bat to grab the orange cap from Shikhar Dhawan. He was unbeaten on 92 runs that is also currently the highest individual score in this season of Indian Premier League. He got able support from the others as well. Sanju Samson's knock was something to expect from a player of the undeniable class.

Poor bowling performance by RCB
Indeed it was a very bad day for the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers who were battered with no mercy by Sanju Samson and his team. It will be like a day to forget for RCB. From the start of the first innings, they were the underdogs which were treated very badly by Rajasthan Royals batsmen.

Bowlers like Umesh Yadav, Chris Woakes were heavily charged by Samson as he hit them everywhere out of the park. It was a like a nightmare for most of the RCB bowlers with Umesh's last over going for huge 27 runs. All of the bowlers had no clue where to bowl to him. They were demolished for 75 runs in the last 4 overs. It was comparatively a better day for the spinning duo Chahal and Sundar who flooded only a few runs for their side.

Highest team total in IPL 2018
Sanju Samson's extraordinary innings of 92 helped Rajasthan Royals to score the highest team total of 217 runs this season. He single handily took responsibility to slaughter RCB's bowling attack. This was some kind of unexpected innings from Sanju because gradually he starts off his inning very slowly and then gives it a shape.

Ben Stokes and Darcy Short, the international players of Rajasthan played a role of spectator as they saw Samson's wonderful innings from the dugout as they went out early in today's match. They also need to come forward and score some runs from their hammer.

Kohli and Ab De fall prey to Shreyas Gopal
It was the second time that Virat and Ab De Villiers had given their wicket to the same bowler. Earlier it was Nitish Rana and this time it was Shreyas Gopal. The leg spinner's spell of 4-0-22-2 had turned the match on its head after the 77-run stand between Kolhi and de Kock for the second wicket. Kohli and De Villiers getting out to same bowlers have happened a lot of times. It has happened already twice this season.

Rajasthan won the match by 19 runs
In spite of Royal Challengers Bangalore batting with an attacking approach, they were never too close to Rajasthan Royal. They had taken wickets at quick intervals which led Rajasthan to take control over RCB on their home ground. Rajasthan comfortably defended 19 runs and won the match against Bangalore. Mandeep Singh tried to pull of this game but the asking rate was a way too high.
