The ninth match of the IPL 2018 saw Mumbai Indians locking horns with the Delhi Daredevils at the iconic Wankhede on Saturday, where the former suffered an agonizing seven-wicket defeat. It was Mumbai’s third consecutive loss in this year’s IPL and all of them have been a heart-wrenching one.

As a skipper, Rohit Sharma has failed to put up a good performance in the first three matches, However, in a tweet, he has come up praising Jason  Roy and Rishabh Pant for their innings which took Delhi to their first win of the campaign.

He also promised his and Mumbai Indians' fans of a strong comeback in their upcoming matches and has asked their fans to have faith in them.

On the other hand, matching Rohit's opinion, Suryakumar Yadav who played a brilliant innings for Mumbai Indians in a losing cause has also said that MI are not far away from a win.

“It is a little disappointing, not getting even one win out of three. But, we know as it has been done in the past as well, a few games down doesn't take away anything. It's a long tournament, we just need one win, then the momentum will be built from there,” Yadav said in the post-match press conference.

Here is what Rohit tweeted.
