Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) to register their first win of this season. RCB chased down the 156-run target in 19.3 overs with four wickets in hand.

It was AB de Villiers who scored 57 and helped RCB reach a safe position before getting out. Skipper Virat Kohli disappointed the home crowd after he was undone by a beautiful delivery by Mujeeb Ur Rahman. Virat scored a 16-ball 21 before heading back to the pavilion. 

The win was special for RCB as it restored the faith of their fans in them. 

It was a special one for RCB skipper Virat as well, he was seen calling her wife Anushka Sharma after the win. A video is surfacing on the internet in which Virat is seen talking to Anushka on phone and was eager to meet her after securing a win against KXIP.

She had visited the stadium to cheer for her husband. At one moment, Kohli took a catch and Anushka acknowledged that with a flying kiss. Just like her husband, she was pumped too after every wicket.
