IPL 2018: Watch – Nasser Hussain takes “Pani Puri” challenge in his debut as an IPL commentator

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is widely deemed as the most celebrated cricketing event all across the globe and this year the craze of this cash-rich tournament has gone to a different level altogether.

Apart from the top cricketers of the world exhibiting their skills in IPL 2018, the commentary team for this season is an elite one as well. For the very first time, renowned England cricketers turned commentators – Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan are covering the IPL for the official broadcaster – Star Sports.  

While Vaughan is in India for the last one week and has covered a couple of matches in this year’s IPL thus far, Nasser made his debut as an expert in Star Sports’ game analysis show “The Dugout” on Friday (April 13). During the programme, Hussain took the “Pani Puri” challenge against former Australia spinner Brad Hogg.

Talking to social media site Instagram, Michael Vaughan posted the video of Nasser and Hogg’s unique competition and captioned it as: “Local boy Nasser winning us the #Ashes .. #SelectDugout @starsportsindia #IPL”.

Besides Vaughan and Hussain, there are three more England commentators who are covering this year’s IPL, namely – David Lloyd, Kevin Pietersen and Isha Guha. As far as Australian commentators are concerned – Michael Slater, Brett Lee, Matthew Hayden, Michael Clarke, Lisa Sthalekar, Melanie Jones are there in the list.
