Pravin Amre, the assistant coach and batting consultant for Delhi Daredevils, has come out with his views after the rain-curtailed game versus the Rajasthan Royals. DD failed to chase the target of 71 runs in 6 overs with 10 wickets in hand. Amre said that rain hampered the team's chances in the game and pointed out to how the ball skitted in the wet conditions.

Praveen Amre was quoted about the same saying that, "The way I see it, we were just two hits away, I personally went there after the break and there was water, I put my hand there, there was water. It was not easy for the batsman, it was a skiddy wicket, even in their stance, they were not comfortable. In their stance, the balance was not there. Definitely not a comfortable position but we had to play,"

"But we can't complain about it, it's part of the game and we have to take it on. As I said, we had to complete the game because people had come to watch the game," he added.

After being the part of the winning team on the night, young Rahul Tripathi the Rajasthan Royals batsmen expressed his opinion about the rain issue and also the happiness. He said, "We always get good support for Royals in Jaipur. Even today, it rained and yet they stayed on. Thank you to all the people that waited," pointing also out to the crowd support"

"This was an important game for us, this is our home ground and we know the conditions slightly better. So missing a game here wouldn't have been ideal. Thanks to the ground staff, we could have a game"

"And thanks to Duckworth-Lewis, we got a good target as well. We were thinking we might get only 60 but we got 71. In 6 overs, one good over where a boundary doesn't come will put pressure on the opposition. For us, Jaipur was lucky again,"
