As much as they play their cricket hard and tough on the field, cricketers featuring in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are known for their off-field fun and activities. Even though Kolkata Knight Riders suffered a heart-wrenching 5-wicket defeat at the hands of Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday (April 10), the swashbuckling all-rounder Andre Russell was seen dancing with the Bollywood superstar and KKR owner – Shah Rukh Khan.

Besides Russell, other KKR players such as Sunil Narine, Shubman Gill and Kamlesh Nagarkoti were also spotted in the video. All the above-mentioned players were shaking their legs on the tunes of famous SRK song “Wanna Be My Chammak Challo”.

Taking to social photo-site Instagram Russell posted the video and captioned it as: “Fun time with the boss himself! #SRK”.

It is pertinent to mention here that Russell was one of the two players, who got retained by Kolkata Knight Riders during the IPL retention in January 2018. Russell’s fellow countryman Sunil Narine was the other player to be retained by KKR.

Playing against the CSK on Tuesday night, Russell was in his zone as he blasted his way to a breathtaking 36-ball 88 that helped KKR to post a mammoth total of 202 on the board. The maverick Caribbean all-rounder smashed 1 four and 11 sixes in his awe-inspiring innings. Chennai’s batting line-up though proved to be too strong as they chased down the gigantic target with one ball to spare.
