IPL 2018: A picture of Shah Rukh Khan hugging Virat Kohli takes internet by storm

The most prestigious and cash-rich T20 tournament in the World –Indian Premier League (IPL) is back again with its 11th edition, which has already staged one game for all eight teams with Chennai Super Kings leading the points table with two wins in the IPL 2018.

With IPL 2018 got underway last week in Mumbai, all franchise owners are making their way to the stadium to cheer their respective teams in the tournament. Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan is the most seen face in the T20 extravaganza, as he is often seen with his family at the stadium to cheer his team –Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which always makes headlines on the social media throughout the tournament.

On 8 April (Sunday), KKR and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) led by Virat Kohli face each other in their season opener at the Eden Gardens, which was won by the hosts.

Meanwhile, both teams have moved on from the result of their IPL 2018 opener and even KKR has played their second match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 10 April (Tuesday), though the Men in Yellow lost to the hosts by 5-wickets in Chennai. But fans have not forgotten the enchanting moment of Sunday’s game, as a picture of Virat hugging Shah Rukh has doing rounds on the social media.

Since the match, the picture went viral on social media and especially on Twitter. 

Noteworthy, RCB will next play Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Bengaluru on 13 April, while KKR will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 14 April in Kolkata.
