IPL 2018: Match6, RR vs DD - Teams looking for first win after initial loss

Gambhir started off his campaign with a fifty.

Both teams have lost their first game.

Back in the Indian Premier League folds after a gap of two years, Rajasthan Royals started off their campaign with a defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Delhi Daredevils too started off their campaign under Gambhir's captaincy with a loss against Kings XI Punjab.

Tonight Rajasthan are back at their home ground in Jaipur. They host Delhi Daredevils at the Sawai Man Singh stadium.

Interestingly, RR have won all of their last six games against DD. The last time DD beat RR was in 2012 in Jaipur - their only win at this venue.

Both teams are equal in terms of strength and potential especially after the impression they left in the last game. Rahane and Gambhir respectively will be key with the bat for their teams.

Bowling wise, Delhi has a better-looking attack with the presence of Trent Boult and Amith Mishra. However, its their consistency that has been lacking from the Delhi bowlers. Glenn Maxwell after missing the first game.

Meanwhile, according to latest reports, Jofra Archer will not be a part of RR's second game as well. If this happens, RR will pretty much go with the same XI that they played against SRH.

One thing is for certain, that after tonight's game one of the two teams will get their first win of the campaign. It will be interesting to see who it will be.
