One of the big reasons why the Sunriser's Hyderabad has been such an admirable team for the way they've played their cricket over the years has been the team's culture where they enjoy each other's success, says the right-hand Indian batsmen, Manish Pandey. Manish is playing his first season for the franchise and has found the environment very comforting there.

Talking about the same recently, he reiterated how the virtues of team culture and enjoying everyone's success also helps in winning the championship, "We have the dedication, the work ethic, discipline and depth in the line-up, which can challenge the best," Manish started. 

He further added and pointed out the importance of youngsters feeling free to talk to the captain and the coaching staff, which at Sunrisers there's a freedom for. "Enjoying everyone's success is the key to winning the championship. Yes, some of the youngsters make a mistake of not walking up and talk to the seniors and big names. They should keep learning," 

Manish talked about how he was made to feel really comfortable at his new home in the IPL after playing for so long with the KKR. He said, "Yes, initially I was jittery - moving over from KKR. It was like going to a new school. But, soon, meeting players, who have been my India teammates and against whom I played a lot in domestic cricket, I am now very comfortable. The credit goes to the support staff V.V.S. Laxman, Murali and Tom (Moody), and the franchise owners for creating the kind of wonderful atmosphere for all the guys," 

Manish also shed light on his role in the team and the responsibility to bat in the middle order, stating, "I just think no matter in which team you are in, you should take care of the minute details in training to be a better player, We (middle-order) have to wait patiently for the chances given the heavy top-order. I am comfortable with my role and position in the team," 

Realising the importance of the IPL for himself and the other young cricketers around, Manish talked about how it helps the dream to play for the country. He also made it clear that Ranji Trophy doesn't lose any of its importance in this path, "I don't say Ranji is not important. In fact, many of us have made it to the IPL because of our performances in domestic cricket. But, again, IPL, you tend to learn so many things, meeting all the big names. You can certainly go to the next level with consistency in the IPL,"
