The match between KKR and RCB on Sunday was a special one for KKR batsman Nitish Rana who dismissed AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli off successive deliveries in what turned out to be a masterstroke by Dinesh Karthik. 

As competitive as Virat Kohli is on the field as a cricketer, he is generous and a true gentleman off it. Keeping the sportsman spirit up, Kohli gifted a special bat to Nitish Rana post his success against him in the contest. 

Batting first, RCB scored 176 which was chased down with 7 balls to spare with Sunil Narine smashing 50 off 19 balls. The finishing touches to the innings was put by skipper Dinesh Karthik who scored an unbeaten 35. Rana besides picking up two wickets, scored a crucial 34 in a winning cause for KKR. 

RCB on their part tried hard with Kohli and AB de Villiers giving vital contributions with the bat. As it turned out, the score they put up was just not enough to hurt KKR.
