The opening game of the Indian Premier League yesterday between Mumbai Indians and the Chennai Super Kings was fortunes rollercoaster. The Mumbai Indians started off very nervously and lost their two openers Rohit Sharma and Even Lewis cheaply before the innings was resurrected by fine hands from Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan.

It took the big death overs hits from the Pandya brothers for Mumbai to reach a competitive score of 165 for the conditions.

The Chennai looked in control mid-innings as they were chasing a target below the average run chase for the ground but they stumbled and how. Although, CSK thanks to openers Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson off to a decent start they lost their way by losing wickets, consistently and specifically, to the wrist spin of young Mayank Markande before Dwayne Bravo arrived.

Dwayne changed the hopeless looking situation to match winning one by one of his the best knocks ever and scored 68 off 30 against Mumbai's best bowlers & rattled the opponent. He took CSK to a position of absolute strength needing seven off the last over before getting out caught.

With just one wicket remaining, the earlier injured Kedar Jadhav joined Imran Tahir. At the crease to face Mustafizur Rahman, you can see Kedar realized he can't run and had to be the man who plays the winning hands.

And so he did, he hit Mustafizur for a six off the 4th delivery over the short fine leg and then the winning boundary off the next ball through mid-off. Dwayne Bravo played the innings of the night but it was Kedar Jadhav who gave the innings the much-needed finishing touch.

Kedar later went on to tweet his happiness, stating
