Rohit Sharma who is famously known as HITMAN, is one of the most successful players in the Indian Premier League. He made his IPL debut for Deccan Charges in 2008 and played for this franchise until 2010. In 2009 season, he scored 26 runs in the last over to seal a win for Deccan chargers against Kolkata Knight Riders and in that season he also took a hat-trick with the ball.
In 2011 Rohit Sharma was signed up by Mumbai Indians and in 2012 he scored his first and only IPL hundred against Kolkata Knight Riders in Kolkata. In 2013, after a few matches, Rohit Sharma was appointed captain of Mumbai Indians, in the place of Ricky Ponting.
