Veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has returned to form on time for IPL 2018, as the destructive Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batsman has sent a warning to the rival teams by hammering a stunning knock of 125 runs which laced with 12 sixes in a practice match on Wednesday (4 April).

The left-hander, who is currently out of national colors, was brought by KXIP for his base price — Rs 2 crore during the IPL Auction 2018 earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj’s wife Hazel Keech was also there to cheer her cricketer husband and interestingly, the 36-year-old welcomed her by hitting a six. In his knock, reportedly this comes from just 35 balls, struck sixes all over the park both against the spinners and the fast bowlers.

Hazel also reposted a video of Yuvraj’s hitting typical flick shots made by a fan on her Instagram handle and wrote, “Hahaha this happened right when i walked into the stadium!! Awesome! Thanks for sharing this video #Repost @yuvrajsingh_club with @get_repost”

While Yuvraj will be once again seen playing for his home franchise, and if the all-rounder succeeds in carrying this form to the entire season, then it will be proved the backbone for the KXIP for the IPL 2018.

So far, Yuvraj has amassed a total of 2,587 runs, including 12 half-centuries in 120 IPL matches at an average of 25.61 and a strike rate of 131.18. The aggressive batsman would definitely like to continue with his current form in the coming season to get back into the national side.

The KXIP will begin their IPL 2018 campaign against the Delhi Daredevils (DD) on 8 April in Delhi.
