There is a plenty of buzz surrounding around the upcoming edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) since it will mark the beginning of a new decade in the lucrative tournament and also for the very first time, cricket fans will experience viewing it with a different broadcaster – Star Sports.
In order to intensify the excitement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday (March 4) selected a list of around 100 commentators for IPL 2018. As per the reports in Indian Express, only eight Indians have made it to the list in addition to 17 foreign commentators.
The much-awaited 11th edition of Indian Premier League will kick off from April 7, with defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on returning franchise Chennai Super Kings at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
