Indian skipper –Virat Kohli, who is not only known for his on-field exploits but also his fitness level, has followed a strict diet and fitness regime to maintain his ultimate fitness, and many occasions he has proudly flaunted his well-toned body on the social media.

The 29-year-old dashing right-hander, who is among the fittest athletes in the world, has now become an inspiration for everyone and many youngsters who have followed him and take the fitness seriously.

Kohli has followed the mantra “being fit means being mentally strong”, which is very important for a sportsperson and his fitness is the biggest secret of his success on the field.

However, Kohli was often praised for his fitness by many, but this time his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team physio Evan Speechly is highly impressed with his fitness level.

With the upcoming 11th edition of the IPL 2018 is just around the corner starting next week, Kohli has joined the RCB training to begin practice after a month-long break for the much-awaited tournament at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, in Bengaluru. During a net session, Kohli looked in a jovial mood, and even the RCB shared the pictures of him having a crack at a net session on their Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, Speechly labeled him as the fittest and hardest working sportsman he has ever worked with in his career.

He told Sportstar, “He is, without a doubt, the fittest and hardest working sportsman I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Virat keeps himself in the best physical condition, and being with the Indian team, he has a top physiotherapist and trainer working with him.”

He signed off by saying, “They never pick up major soft tissue injuries like we see in “weekend warriors”, but are finely tuned athletes that pick-up niggles, not complete muscle tears for example.”
