Indian pacer –Mohammad Shami has left behind the ongoing controversies of his personal life and has once again joined the cricket field on Monday (2 March).

Shami has joined the Delhi Daredevils (DD) camp to resume his training for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, starting from 7 April in Mumbai.

The 28-year-old premier Indian bowler was seen doing the fitness drills, as well as, some catching practice ahead of the warm-up game at The Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi.

Shami has had a rough time off the field, as first, his wife Hasin Jahan filed a police complaint against him for domestic violence and then he met with a road accident and injured his head.

At one time, it seemed that Shami would be out of the IPL 2018 due to his off-field controversies, but the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) gave him a clean chit and allowed to play in the IPL 2018 along with the central contract ‘B’ following its Corruption Unit’s investigation.

Putting behind all the drama, allegations of adultery and domestic violence, Shami is currently concentrating on his game and practicing at Kotla. However, Shami's head still has a band-aid, which shows that his injury has not yet been completely cured.

Gautam Gambhir-led Delhi Daredevils (DD) will kick off their IPL 2018 campaign against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at home ground Kotla on 8 April.
