Kolkata Knight Riders recently got some good news that Chris Lynn has started net practice and will be available for the IPL 11, pending health assessment. Another KKR star that was injured, Andre Russell, joined the KKR preparatory camp.
But now, a player on whom much of KKR’s bowling depended is set to miss the IPL 11. That player is left arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc. Starc, who is currently in South Africa, participating in the four Test series; was having trouble with his right leg and sought medical attention.
Now it has been revealed that he is experiencing a 'tibial bone stress in his right leg' and will fly back home after the fourth Test for further medical care and will give the IPL 11 a miss.

He will return home for further assessment after the Test and will miss the IPL.
This news is not great for the KKR fans, as their fast bowling reserves mainly depended on Starc’s expertise and now leaves them in lurch with Russell and Johnson being the only experienced quick bowlers with India U19 stars Nagarkoti and Mavi to fall back on.
