Jos Buttler thinks his England Rajasthan Royals teammate Ben Stokes will be ready to explode in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 11.

"Ben will be absolutely fine and more than ready for the IPL," Buttler told TOI on Friday. "He is already back for England in New Zealand and is quite comfortable. He is a huge part of England. It's great to have him back in the English side as he is one of the best players in the world."

Stokes was the star of last year's tournament with his all-round performance. Buttler thinks he is going to repeat the same this year as well. "I am expecting some big things from him this time," he said.

Jofra Archer, the Barbadian born English cricketer, can be find of this IPL. Buttler has high hopes from the rookie. "He is a player for the future,"

English explosive batsman said. "Big things are expected from him. His game is ideal for IPL. He bowls fast, is an amazing athlete and can hit bowlers out of the ground. It will be exciting to watch him play in India."

Buttler can be a major asset for Steve Smith led team in IPL. He is flexible with his batting and ready to play any role. "My exact role will be decided by the team management, but in recent times I have been opening the batting and have quite enjoyed it. I am also used to batting in the middle order and have been playing the role of a finisher. I am quite comfortable with it. So, I am available for whatever role I am given."

Mentor Shane Warne has the task to appoint role to Buttler as per his abilities. He said Warne has an amazing cricketing brain. "He was the most famous cricketer back then and later I enjoyed listening to his commentary. He has an amazing cricketing brain," Buttler said.

Buttler hopes Krishnappa Gautham, the Karnataka off-break bowler to overcome their weakness in spin. Gautham was picked up for INR 6.20 Crore. "Gautham is not too highly rated in India, but I have seen him at Mumbai Indians nets and have found him to be amazing," he said. "I think he would be the man for Royals."

Buttler said he is comfortable with Indian conditions and understands the T20 format very well.
