Chennai Super Kings along with Rajasthan Royals will make a comeback into IPL 2018 after serving a 2-year ban due to their involvement in match-fixing scandals by their respective franchises. 

What this also means is that MS Dhoni after being retained by the franchise before the auctions will be back as their skipper. MS Dhoni-led CSK to two IPL titles before getting scraped by two seasons. 

Their comeback is being welcomed by cricket fans all around the world with the CSK fans expressing their happiness on the return of " Thala Dhoni". 

Recently, CSK  unveiled their new jersey for the season in an event which received a warm welcome from the fans on Twitter.

Meanwhile Murali Vijay and Mark Wood have expressed their joy on representing the side for the season. “#backinyellow. Mark Wood on the other the hand said  " "I think learning to cope in pressure situations can only help. And picking the brains of some of the legends of the game... MS Dhoni as my captain will provide a great insight and I would love to work with (Dwayne) Bravo and develop my slower ball," the 28-year-old Wood said.

"It will be an immensely proud moment for me to play for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL," Wood was quoted by the CSK website.
