The captain of the team will definitely be the first key player as he has the ability to hammer runs on the board from ball one. Warner, the skipper is a player with a very attacking approach that will help SRH in the league. Warner who is also a very experienced opening batsman will have the liberty to assault the bowlers of opposition.

Warner is fifth on the list of leading run scorers in the tournament and was also the highest run-getter in IPL 2017 with scoring 641 runs in the league. Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson will come at the top to be a helping hand for David Warner. Both the players are well known for their roles and duties. Shakib Al Hasan

The left arm allrounder who was bought for INR 2 crores after the player was released by Kolkata Knight Riders after the retention. Shakib Al Hasan is that kind of player who can be asked to bat and bowl few crucial overs for the team. His presence in SRH will be very effective for young and budding allrounders in the team who wish to play for the franchise.

Rashid Khan who was the most emerging young player of Indian Premier League will also have his spin bag ready to trouble the batsman from other teams. Rashid had a blast in the previous season of IPL with grabbing 17 wickets and plus he is all set to become the youngest player to captain an international side.

Yusuf Pathan and Manish Pandey are two other key players for SRH who can prove their worth in the middle order. Pathan being a slogger and a pinch hitter can score boundaries and Pandey playing a role of a stimulator will lessen the burden of Shakib Al Hasan.

Shakib Al Hasan has 43 wickets to his name and a batting average of 22 can easily tell how much the player is valuable for a team like Sunrisers who had always wanted a player like him.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

The best bowler with a very refined bowling economy rate, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be a key player for his team. Bhuvi who was retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad had a very good previous season. He was also the holder of the purple cap with taking 26 wickets in the whole tournament. Bhuvi's skill and expertise will guide young bowlers like T Natarajan and Basil Thampi throughout the tournament.

Sandeep Sharma who was not considered by KXIP in this season has also joined the Orange army. Sandeep with Bhuvi opening the attack for Hyderabad cannot be less than a nightmare for any batsmen. Both the bowlers will produce deadly overs for their team.

The players listed above, form the core strength of the franchise and have the ability to win matches for the team. It will be great to see how each one of them performs under Tom Moody who is the coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
