IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) went into the IPL auction 2018 with just one player retained in Akshar Patel. KXIP spent big and got some valuable players in their team.
KXIP bought players like R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Karun Nair, Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell and many more in the auction to make a formidable team in the IPL 2018. KXIP also announced Virender Sehwag as the mentor of the team and Australia’s Brad Hodge as the head coach of the franchise.
Today, Virender Sehwag, on behalf of KXIP went on Facebook Live to announce the captain of the KXIP for the IPL 2018. KXIP announced R Ashwin as their captain for the IPL 2018.
