Post the IPL 2018 auctions,  the franchises have a new look to the team with many new faces coming up and some old veteran players to represent their local franchise. With the 11th edition of Indian Premier League to start off in April, team Circle of Cricket gets down to list the key players from Delhi Daredevils squad who can make a difference with their performance this year.

From the start of Indian Premier League, Delhi Daredevils have looked strong on paper but despite having so many quality players they are yet to win their first IPL trophy. Delhi with no constant skipper has always had a changing team from the start of the tournament. Apart from their 2009 performance, the Daredevils have failed to shine. They had let go of some brilliant players like Ab De Villiers and  David Warner.
But talking about the team fan base, they have supported them through thick and thin and will continue to support the franchise no matter what and that is what any team needs at the end.

Gambhir will prove to be a key player for Delhi Daredevils with leading the side in the upcoming IPL contest. He has experience and he knows how to grab wins for his team.

He will be accompanied by many other top quality players like Shreyas Iyer and Jason Roy of England. Gautam Gambhir carries a sense of responsibility with himself which is a very good sign for a team like Delhi Daredevils who are very desperate to hold an IPL championship and probably a player like Gautam Gambhir can finish off all his businesses well with DD.

Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell was snapped up by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 9 crore at IPL 2018 auction when the player saw no retaining action from his previous team Kings XI. Glenn Maxwell also started his IPL career with Delhi Daredevils but was not considered for the next season and hence the player moved to Mumbai Indians and further in Kings XI Punjab where he had spent his quality four years.

Glenn Maxwell is a powerful and a clean hitter that can sweep off any game from the opposition with his extra super talented all-rounder skills. The player can slog, save runs for the team while fielding and sometimes he can provide you wickets so all and all there are three qualities in him that makes him an ideal player Delhi Daredevils who can win matches for them.

The player will get help from another South African all-rounder Chris Morris who has been performing exceptionally well for the team in the recent past. Maxwell and Morris combination can be very destructive for the other teams.
