Out of national colors, West Indian all-rounder –Kieron Pollard, on Thursday, has expressed gratitude to Mumbai Indians (MI) for showing faith on him again, saying he is looking forward to making IPL 2018 special for him and his franchise.

Pollard, who has been playing in the various T20 leagues across the world and has been out of West Indies Team since September 2017, has been with MI since making IPL debut in 2010.

MI did not retain the hard-hitting Caribbean batsman, as they have retained Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah during IPL retention, but Mumbai showed faith in him and picked up Pollard during the IPL Auction 2018 last week by using the Right to Match (RTM) card.

Pollard told ESPN Cricinfo, “I just want to thank Mumbai Indians for entrusting faith in me once again. Going into the auction then hearing that you were going to be retained, you know you have forged a very good relationship. When you talk of commitment to one, you can be committed to.”

He further stated, “People stand by you in difficult times, in good times and you reward them in the end. I am happy to be back at Mumbai Indians and looking forward to do special things.”
