IPL 2018 Auctions: Top BBL players to watch out

IPL auction to be held at Ritz-Carlton, Bengaluru.

The 2018 VIVO IPL auction will take place at Bengaluru on 27th and 28th January with 578 players to go under the hammer. The franchises have been allotted a total purse of 80 crores with each team to go maximum for 25 players in the team. The franchises will definitely seek out to obtain these players in the team.

With only one day left for IPL auction 2018, team Circle of Cricket gets down to list top 5 players from Big Bash League who can attract some buyers in the upcoming auction of Indian Premier League. The list is totally based on the performances of the players in the current BBL tournament.

An attacking left-hand batsman who can definitely swing his arms over the bowler and break their rhythm. D'Arcy who is playing exceptionally well for Hobart Hurricanes will surely get some buyers in the 11th edition of IPL this year. Recently he had scored 122 runs just off 69 deliveries against Brisbane Heat that makes him special for this season's auction. With his pure class of batting, it will be interesting to see how he manages to catch the eyes of the teams taking part in the disposal.

A clean top-order batsman who can build a quick strong platform for his team while batting and even can deliver his off-breaks as well. A fantastic domestic level player that can change the shape of the matches. Franchises will have to go for this responsible player in this auction and it will be intriguing to see if he perceives any buyer for IPL 2018. The player has always put in his best for the team he is playing for. So, he becomes a must buy depending on his recent form.

A very efficient wicket taking bowler from Australia who has always performed well in the shorter format of the game. A promising bowler who knows his job and value in the team. He is the wicket leading bowler in Big Bash League till date and will clearly continue to play some good cricket in the upcoming season if he attracts some buyers for IPL 2018 starting in April later this year. He is also the core team member of Adelaide Strikers with outstanding fielding skills.

A very fast and economical bowler any team can ever wish for. He is consistent with his line and length and can produce some deadly bouncer too. He has also represented Australia in more than 60 test matches with taking 211 wickets. So he has enough positive chances to attract any franchise in the auction that is to be held in Bangaluru. Teams who lack having some experience international bowlers will try to go behind him.

The spinning duo of Sydney Thunder who are performing well for their team in BBL 2018. The pair which forms a destructive combination for Sydney in the spin department will definitely be on some franchise's list and plan for the upcoming auction on 27th and 28th January. They have been an integral part of their Thunder squad which won the BBL trophy in the 2015-16 season. Their presence can unquestionably make an impact in the coming season of IPL.

with just 48 hours to get over with the auction it will be interesting to see for how much money the above-mentioned players get bought in the cash-rich league where every team will try to build a balanced squad for the tournament.
