Quality Indian fast bowlers are a premium commodity in the IPL, as they are very less in number and franchises can get many quality bowlers for a very good value for money. Some of the Indian fast bowlers have already made their name in the tournament and we have shortlisted 5 such Indian fast bowlers who should be in the limelight in IPL 2018 auction.

His watershed moment came when he was picked by SRH team for IPL 2017 and due to injury to Ashish Nehra, Kaul became the go to bowler for captain David Warner. He picked 16 wickets in 12 matches he played and it led to him being called up to the Indian squad.

VARUN AARON

Varun Aaron | Indian Express

Varun Aaron was once touted as the fastest bowler in Indian domestic circuit. However, form and injuries have hurt his chances of having a long career for India. He has played 42 matches in IPL and picked 38 wickets. His best season was in 2014 with 16 wickets in 10 matches.

Aaron has now gained full fitness and form, and is raring to go against the best of the international cricketers in the IPL. His speed and ability to dismiss batsmen just by beating them with pace and it is a very rare quality to find in an Indian bowler and any franchise will love to have that in their bowling arsenal.

Anureet Singh has previously played for Kolkata Knight Riders team in IPL 2014 and was then picked up by Kings XI Punjab team. His best season came in 2015, when he picked 15 wickets in 14 matches for his franchise. An accurate medium pace bowler, Anureet has the ability to swing the ball both ways and can be handy when it comes to bowling yorkers in the death overs and keeping the batsmen from hitting big shots. Anureet will come in handy in middle overs when you need someone to keep the run rate down.
