Delhi Daredevils still has two Right to Match cards left with them.

Delhi Daredevils has always been perhaps the sustained underperformers in IPL. Apart from few seasons, Delhi has always ended on a losing side no matter who is the coach, what are the conditions they are playing in but mostly they have been short against their opponents. They have never really clicked at crucial moments where the team was supposed to perform as a unit.

With all the players up for auctions, Team Circle of Cricket gets to jot down a list of players which the franchise can aim to buy in the upcoming auctions.

The local Delhi boy who has two IPL trophies under his name might make a comeback for Delhi Daredevils in the upcoming season. Gautam Gambhir who was not retained by Kolkata Knight Riders slightly sense of his coming back to his home team. Gautam Gambhir would be a great buy for DD as he has excellent captaincy skills and he is more of a responsible player in the dugout who can lead and motivate his team to win matches.

Shakib Al Hasan
The number 1 T20 all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan would be on Delhi Daredevil's radar this auction season. Al Hasan provides extra bowling option and more batting depth to his team. He has performed exceptionally well for KKR but unfortunately was not retained by the franchise. The left-arm spinner can be very indispensable for his team. Delhi would definitely seek out to buy this Bangladeshi all-rounder.

The skipper of New Zealand who is been very consistent with the bat can fit at Delhi's no. 3 spot. Williamson who was earlier associated with Sunrisers Hyderabad see no chance to get retained by SRH this year and Delhi Daredevils who need a reliable and valuable player like him can take the advantage their side.

Pat Cummins
The speedster from Australia who is already an existing player of Delhi Daredevil will definitely hope for a recall through their second Right to Match card. He brings a lot of pace with himself with some quick bouncer he can definitely make an impact this year. He has taken wickets and scored runs too so there should be no question for Delhi not to pick him.

After a decade of Indian Premier League, Delhi Daredevils are still not the favorites with none IPL trophy, they would like to change their fortune and luck and start this IPL season on a fresh note with players listed above.
