The 30th match of the IPL 2020 features Delhi Capitals (DC) taking on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Dubai. While DC is second on the points table, RR lay second last and needs to start winning some games in order to stay in the playoffs race.
Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat first with DC making one change as Tushar Deshpande came in for Harshal Patel. RR went in unchanged and captain Steve Smith confirmed that Ben Stokes will continue to open the batting.
Meanwhile, Jofra Archer, who is in terrific form with the ball and has bowled five of the fastest balls in this IPL 13, gave RR the perfect start by removing Prithvi Shaw on the first ball of the match. Shaw missed an in-dipper, which hit the stumps after taking the inside edge.
An ecstatic Archer celebrated the wicket with Bihu dance moves, made popular by RR’s Riyan Parag. Parag, who hails from Assam state, had hit the winning runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their last game, did the traditional dance to celebrate the win.
Before this match began, Archer was seen taking tips on the dance steps from Parag and when he got rid of Shaw, went and celebrated the scalp by doing the dance along with Parag himself.
