IPL 2020: Player Auction list announced; 332 shortlisted players to go under the hammer on December 19

Auction to begin at 3.30 pm IST.

Robin Uthappa is the only Indian at base price of INR 1.5 cr | AFPThe Indian Premier League governing council has released the shortlist of the players who will be participating in the upcoming players’ auction on December 19, 2019. The list was shortened to 332 from the original 997, which includes a total of 186 Indians, 143 overseas & 3 players from Associate nations.

Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Dale Steyn, and Angelo Mathews have been shortlisted at the highest base price of INR 2 crore for the upcoming IPL auction. Among the foreign players, nine have set a base price of Rs 1.5 Crore, while 20 have a base price of Rs 1 Crore.

Robin Uthappa is the only Indian to set his base price at INR 1.5 crore. Piyush Chawla, Yusuf Pathan, and Jaydev Unadkat have set their base price for INR 1 crore. Also shortlisted amongst foreign players at the base price of INR 1.5 crore are Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Chris Morris, Chris Woakes, Adam Zampa, Shaun Marsh, David Willey, Kane Richardson, and Kyle Abbott.

From the associate nations, USA’s Ali Khan has kept his base price at INR 20 lakh, along with UAE pacer Zahoor Khan and left-handed Scotland batsman George Munsey.

The auction will take place in Kolkata and will start at 15:30 IST on December 19, 2019.
