Mumbai Indians (MI) clinched the IPL 2019 title by defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a tense final at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Sunday (May 12).

Riding on Jasprit Bumrah’s awe-inspiring spell and Lasith Malinga’s remarkable last over, MI registered a nerve-wrecking 1-run victory over CSK to secure their fourth IPL title – the most by any franchise.

As expected, the MI camp was pretty thrilled after the historic accomplishment. On Monday (May 13) evening, the players and support staff of Mumbai set out for an open-bus parade in the city amid heavy fanfare.

In a bid to rejoice the success, the franchise coach Mahela Jayawardena along with leading players Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were present during the champions parade, which was planned from Peddar Road to Trident in Nariman Point.

Mumbai Indians' official Twitter handle posted pictures and videos of the whole event as locals crowded around the bus to see a glimpse of their heroes.
