Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 5 wickets at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi and finished the group stage with a win. It was Delhi's ninth win of this season.

Earlier on a spin friendly track, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bat first but against the top quality bowling of Ishant Sharma they looked clueless and lost four wickets for just 30 runs. Later in the middle overs Amit Mishra's 3 wickets did the damage. Riyan Parag was rock solid at his end and his small partnerships with other batsmen helped Rajasthan Royals to post a total of 115/9 in 20 overs. Riyan Parag scored 50 runs off 49 balls.

In reply, Shikhar Dhawan gave a brisk start but Ish Sodhi sent him back to pavilion and in the same over Prithvi Shaw also got out and Delhi got reduced to 28/2. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant counter attacked and released the pressure a bit. Iyer got out off Gopal's bowling and later Ingram also perished and Delhi was reduced to 83/4 in the 14th over. Rishabh Pant continued to play his shots as he brought up his fifty and also helped his team to cross the winning line.
